The HYDRA SCHOOL PROJECT was started in 2000 by Dimi Athanasopoulou and Dimitris Antonitsis with the intention of introducing to Greece and the international public to young and upcoming artists together with more established ones. The doors of the legendary Sahtoureio High school will open on 5th July 2008 for WHATEVER’S WHATEVER, an exhibition curated by Dimitris Antonitsis, based on the American artist Raymond Pettibon’s humorous aquarelle. The artists have been encouraged to use the classrooms as if their own studios in which to exhibit their latest work.
